ChefJi’s Cooking Classes and Demonstrations
What’s your flava? Find out by cooking with ChefJi either in a crazy-sexy-cool kitchen in Manhattan or by inviting her to turn your own mild-mannered kitchen into a hot spot!
ChefJi’s cooking classes for the rookie and the semi-pro alike are hands-on, relaxed and as creative as the art of cooking itself. “Out” are stress, measurements and rigid recipes. “In” are innovation, taste-testing and the outing of your inner chef (and there is one in there!). And at the end of each class, there’s a dinner party where you and your classmates can enjoy the fruits (and vegetables) of your labor.
Why should you be champing at the bit to enroll in one of ChefJi’s classes? Let us count but a few of the reasons:
- It’s cheaper to eat in than out, and by the time she’s done with you, you’ll think it’s more fun, too.
- Her techniques will help you win friends and influence people. Or at least impress the friends you already have.
- She’ll turn your thoughts about entertaining at home from stress and strain to rest and relaxation.
- Doesn’t everybody want their dishes to seem like they were hard work when in fact, for you (post-ChefJi), they were child’s play?
Each of ChefJi’s classes comes with a different pricetag, owing to the menu and ingredients (healthy, fresh and organic wherever possible), necessary supplies, beverages and wine. But the constants are:
- The classes are and hands-on. Sometimes even hands-in.
- All levels are welcome. (Not all ages, though – sorry, kids. No minors.)
- Recipes are provided after each session.
ChefJi’s Cooking Demonstrations
Seeing is believing, so in 2009, let ChefJi show you that cooking can be a treat rather than a chore. In her demos – think of them as the Food Network, live in your own living room — you’ll learn how to save time and money while whipping up four-star menus for your friends and families.
Who would enjoy a ChefJi cooking demo?
Pretty much any kind of group, be it co-workers, friends, girls having a night out (er, in). And when else will you get a chance to learn something that will feed you, period, even as it feeds your imagination?
